Day 4

This morning we took the bullet train back across the Korean Peninsula to Seoul.

After lunch at Seoul Station, we drove north to the DMZ Zone, the area between North Korea 🇰🇵 South Korea 🇰🇷. As a history teacher, I have taught about the Korean War for years, although I never thought I would be in such a significant geopolitical space. It was powerful, peaceful, and profoundly sad at same time.

Next, some students took a Taekwondo class 🥋while others checked out Olive Young, the mecca of Korean skincare. Both groups throughly enjoyed themselves! After an Italian dinner, we returned to our hotel to rest.
